Professional Background

I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My training brought together person-centred, psychodynamic and existential approaches, alongside contemporary relational thinking, providing a broad and flexible foundation for working with a diverse range of clients.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I completed a degree in English Literature. Although my work today is grounded in psychological theory and clinical practice, my literary background continues to shape how I think and work. Stories have always fascinated me—not simply the events of our lives, but the meanings we give them, the relationships that shape them, and the ways we come to understand ourselves through them. This perspective naturally informs the reflective, thoughtful way I approach therapy.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I have over ten years' experience working within education and mental health, supporting children and young people with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and additional needs. This experience has given me a deep appreciation of how early relationships, environments and life experiences influence us, while also reinforcing the importance of seeing each person as an individual rather than through the lens of a diagnosis or difficulty.

Specialist Training

Alongside my Master's training, I have completed specialist training with RASASC, equipping me to support women who have experienced sexual violence, domestic abuse, coercive control and other forms of gender-based violence. This training has strengthened my understanding of trauma, safety, empowerment and recovery, allowing me to offer sensitive, informed support to survivors at their own pace.

Professional Practice

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision to ensure my practice remains ethical, reflective and informed by current research. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within its Ethical Framework, placing safety, respect, confidentiality and professional integrity at the heart of my practice.

Whether you are seeking therapy for a specific difficulty or simply want a space to better understand yourself, my aim is to offer a professional, compassionate environment where you can feel heard, respected and supported.
